It finally got to me

You know what the deal is? With me not blogging so much, I mean? See, I got Facebook. It’s this thing you use to be social and all, maybe you’ve heard about it, I dunno. It’s kinda fun, I guess, but it takes up a lot of my time with all the updating and posting photos and what not. Anyway, I told you so you’d know what the heck is keeping me from blogging. Well, to tell ya the truth, Facebook is the bad guy here. I wouldn’t worry, though. It won’t be long before it bugs me more than it helps, and then I’ll be back to blogging in my usual pace 🙂

Here’s some photos to cheer you up (after missing me and all):

Ay, caramba, you’ve got a big dog leaping at you!!!

Yikes! That was close…

After a nice brush-down 🙂

Yeah, smile, papi, that’s right :).

I’m really sensitive when it comes to touch… A poke on my paw and I’ll be lookin’ like a wet chicken.

Shanti

This is Shanti. He was our foster dog, and is actually still living with us, even though he’s been adopted. His new family is moving so it was decided that he’d stay with us until that’s taken care of. You know, so there’s no fuss. His new big sister is called Shiva and she’s a Boerboel. My family loves all dogs, but that type is definitely a favorite. Shanti and Shiva make a great team and will definitely keep intruders to an absolute minimum ;). Anyways, besides being a good watchdog, Shanti is a big goof. Just take a look at this:

The most upsetting part is that he’ll walk around like this all day long if no one gives him a hand. At least he’s confident enough to not care what he looks like…

But he sure is pretty, isn’t he?

A beautiful sunnyrise

If you people knew what we’re up to, you wouldn’t believe us. Let’s just say we have *a few* foster dogs here at the moment, and as a matter of fact, we’re awaiting a nice couple to come and look at little Sun Yat-Sen as we speak!

“Sunny” gets his name after one of the surviving dogs of the Titanic. Why? Well, Titanic celebrated (although that really feels like the wrong word to use…) its 100 year anniversary on the day that Sunny was to be named.

Here he is, Sunny-boy.

And here we are:

Good morning!

*** Update: Sunny was indeed adopted 🙂

Happy birthday, Legolas!!!

Yes, my baby brother finally turned 3, the age we always said he’d be all grown up. I don’t know that I notice that much difference in him, but maybe that’s cuz he’s been good for a loooong time now. It was also the first birthday of his that mom & dad were actually home. They’re usually on vacation this time of year, but since they’re apparently not made out of money and we did get a new house, it was an all Swedish, wet (the rainy kind) and cold summer for them, too! Ha! No lying around on the hot and sunny beaches of Spain while we’re left here to miss them… Ah, gloating is good… And a very happy b-day to my favorite (oh, well) blue-haired bro’ in arrears. Love you lots and lots!!

No longer a puppy… Congrats, 31/7 🙂

Yum, b-day dinner!
